Mail-In Ballot Canvass Starts June 1 in Gaithersburg

The Montgomery County Board of Elections will begin its pre-election canvass of returned mail-in ballots for the 2026 Gubernatorial Primary Election on June 1, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the Board of Elections Training and Canvass Center, 18753 N. Frederick Avenue, Suite 203, Gaithersburg. Bipartisan teams will review ballot envelopes in a public process overseen by the Board of Canvassers. The canvass can be observed in person or via livestream at www.777vote.org; dates are subject to change based on ballot volume.
