MD Bill Would Require Individual Unit Water Meters

Maryland HB 220 and SB 130 would establish regulations for individual unit water meters and provide protections against excess fees for residents. The legislation grew out of experiences reported by residents at the Grand. Councilmember Stewart is tracking the bill during the 2026 General Assembly session.
