MEA Seeks Input on FY27 Commercial Buildings Grant Program

The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) is requesting stakeholder feedback on its proposed FY27 Commercial & Community Buildings Grant Program, which consolidates several existing initiatives into one multi-sector offering. The program will support energy efficiency, electrification, solar, and other decarbonization measures for commercial buildings, local governments, and school facilities. MEA is seeking input on program design, funding structure, a draft grant calculator, technical assistance needs, and engagement strategies.
