MEA Solicits Input on $100M Megawatts for Maryland Renewable Program

The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) is gathering stakeholder input on the upcoming Megawatts for Maryland Program, planned to launch in FY27 with up to $100 million in grants for large-scale Tier 1 renewable energy and energy storage projects. The program will use a competitive auction process, and MEA is seeking feedback on project types, eligibility requirements, financing considerations, and grid-related locational value.
