Memorial Day 2026: Recycling, Trash Collections Slide One Day

Recycling and Resource Management Division May 22, 2026
Montgomery County will not provide recycling or trash collections on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2026. Pickups will slide one day for the remainder of the week, with Friday routes moved to Saturday, May 30. The Shady Grove Processing Facility and Transfer Station will also be closed on May 25.
