Metro Runs Free Shuttles on 355 During Red Line Closure

During the partial Red Line shutdown from July 6 to September 6, 2026, Metro is running free shuttle buses between North Bethesda and Friendship Heights stations. Some shuttles offer express service between the two endpoints, while local shuttles run along Wisconsin Avenue/Route 355. Riders can also use existing Ride On and Metrobus routes serving east-arm Red Line stations.
