Montgomery County Offers Christmas Tree Recycling Guidance

Montgomery County trash collection services will pick up live Christmas trees for recycling once all decorations are removed and metal or plastic is cleared. Residents with artificial trees should call 311 or submit an online request for bulk trash pickup, or donate reusable trees. The Department of Environmental Protection's website provides disposal guidance by home type, from single-family homes to apartments.
