New Crosswalk Signal Installed on MD 108 Near Sherwood High School

A new pedestrian-activated signal and ADA-accessible crosswalk on MD 108 near Sherwood High School has been completed following advocacy by community members, students, Councilmember Will Jawando, and the State Highway Administration. The project was a collaboration with District 14 Senator Craig Zucker and Delegates Anne Kaiser, Pam Queen, and Bernice Mireku-North. The improvement addresses longstanding pedestrian safety concerns along the route to Sherwood High School.
