No Trash, Recycling Pickup New Year's Day Jan. 1

Montgomery County will not provide recycling or trash collection on Thursday, January 1, 2026, in observance of New Year's Day. Thursday routes shift to Friday, January 2, and Friday routes shift to Saturday, January 3; Monday through Wednesday routes remain on normal schedule. Residents with private haulers or those in municipalities should check with their provider, as the county slide schedule may not apply.
