North Bethesda Bus Lane Segment Eyed for Permanent Status

Following the summer Red Line closure, the northern bus lane segment along MD 355 — running from north of I-495 to Marinelli Road — will be evaluated for possible permanent dedicated bus lane designation. Data collected during the closure period will be published, and input from residents, businesses, and others will inform future decisions. The southern segment from Woodmont Avenue to Western Avenue will not be considered for long-term use.
