DHHSAug 31, 2026
Montgomery County's Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (OEMHS) is observing National Preparedness Month in September 2026 with a community survey to gather resident feedback on preparedness outreach materials and resources. Emergency management staff will attend more than 40 partner-hosted events and pop-up information tables across the county throughout the month. A companion social media campaign will highlight one of five preparedness steps each week on Facebook, X, Instagram, and NextDoor.
