Montgomery County's Department of Health and Human Services will hold its annual International Overdose Awareness Day and National Recovery Month event on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Memorial Plaza, 101 Monroe St., Rockville. New this year is a 'Color for a Cause 1-Mile Run/Walk/Roll,' staged from Monroe Street and East Jefferson Street. The event will also include a memorial ceremony, commemorative photo display, resource fair, food trucks, and free tours of the COPE trailer.
