Purple Line Work Closes Wayne Ave Overnight Through June 6

Montgomery County Department of Transportation has issued a service advisory for overnight road closures on Wayne Avenue in Silver Spring from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. nightly through Saturday morning, June 6, 2026. Crews are installing overhead wires for the Purple Line, closing Wayne Avenue in both directions between Dale Drive and Sligo Creek Parkway. Several Ride On bus stops along the corridor will not be served during the overnight closure hours.
