Red Line Single-Tracking Between Medical Center and Friendship Heights

Due to planned Metrorail track work, Red Line trains will single track between Medical Center and Friendship Heights stations on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8, 2026. Service hours are Saturday 6 a.m.–2 a.m. and Sunday 6 a.m.–midnight. Riders can check rideonbus.com or follow @RideOnMCT for up-to-date bus service information.
