Red Line Trains Suspended Between North Bethesda and Friendship Heights Through Sept. 6

The 2026 Summer Red Line construction project has shut down Metro service between North Bethesda and Friendship Heights through September 6, 2026. Grosvenor-Strathmore, Medical Center, and Bethesda stations are all closed during this period. Express and local shuttle bus services are operating between the two endpoints to serve affected commuters.
