Ride On Glenmont Express Shuttle Launched for Red Line Shutdown

Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has launched the Ride On Glenmont Express Shuttle to serve Upcounty riders during the Metro Red Line partial shutdown running July 6 through September 6, 2026. The shuttle provides direct service between Milestone Park-and-Ride, Shady Grove Metro, and Glenmont Metro stations, operating every 40 minutes Monday–Friday from 6–9 a.m. and 3–7 p.m. Stations temporarily closed during the shutdown include Friendship Heights, Bethesda, Medical Center, Grosvenor-Strathmore, and North Bethesda.
