Ride On Glenmont Express Shuttle Launches During Red Line Shutdown

Montgomery County DOT is operating the Ride On Glenmont Express Shuttle from July 6 through September 6, 2026, during the partial Metro Red Line shutdown. The shuttle runs between Milestone Park-and-Ride, Shady Grove, and Glenmont Metro stations every 40 minutes on weekdays from 6–9 a.m. and 3–7 p.m. The service is intended to provide Upcounty riders with access to the east arm of the Red Line, which remains in service.
