Ride On Glenmont Express Shuttle Launches During Red Line Shutdown

Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has launched the Ride On Glenmont Express Shuttle to serve Upcounty riders during the Metro Red Line partial shutdown from July 6 through September 6, 2026. The shuttle provides direct service between Milestone Park-and-Ride, Shady Grove Metro, and Glenmont Metro stations. It operates every 40 minutes on weekdays from 6–9 a.m. and 3–7 p.m.
