Ride On Glenmont Express Shuttle Launches July 6 for Red Line Shutdown

Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is launching the Ride On Glenmont Express Shuttle from July 6 to September 6, 2026, to serve riders affected by the Red Line summer shutdown. The limited-stop shuttle will provide direct service between Milestone Park-and-Ride, Shady Grove, and Glenmont Metro Stations, operating on weekdays during AM and PM peak hours. The shutdown will temporarily close Friendship Heights, Bethesda, Medical Center, Grosvenor-Strathmore, and North Bethesda stations.
