State Highway Administration Holds US29 Pedestrian Safety Town Hall

The State Highway Administration will hold a town hall meeting on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 7 pm at Burnt Mills Elementary School to discuss pedestrian safety concerns on US29/Colesville Road in the Four Corners and Burnt Mills neighborhoods. The meeting follows a fatal hit-and-run incident at Crestmoor Drive and US29. Residents may attend in person or join via Zoom to provide feedback on potential safety improvements.
