Students Get Fire & Rescue Experience at Wheaton Squad Jan. 18

Councilmember Fani-González and the Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad are hosting a day of fire and rescue engagement for middle and high school students on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Students can earn Student Service Learning (SSL) hours while learning about station maintenance, life-saving techniques, and firefighter operations. The event concludes with a shared lunch between students and firefighters.
