TEBS FY27 Budget Drops Slightly to $71.9M with Contract Hour Cuts

The Montgomery County Council will review the FY27 Operating Budget for Technology and Enterprise Business Solutions (TEBS) on May 4, 2026. The County Executive's recommendation of $72.2 million reflects a 0.5% decrease from FY26 and includes a proposed five-hour-per-workweek reduction on all contracted support, amounting to more than $3.1 million in savings. The GO Committee recommended approving the budget at $71.9 million with several items on the reconciliation list.
