Montgomery County is promoting three ways for residents to assess home energy leaks: borrowing a thermal camera from the library, scheduling a no-cost Quick Home Energy Checkup through EmPOWER Maryland (available to any utility bill payer), or booking a Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Audit for $100 (available to homeowners). BGE, Pepco, and Potomac Edison customers each have dedicated scheduling portals. All programs are available now.
