Virtual Hearing Set on Purple Line Long Branch Sidewalk Plan

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will hold a virtual public hearing on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss proposed 5-foot-wide, ADA-compliant sidewalk and curb ramp installations within a half-mile and quarter-mile of the Purple Line Long Branch station in Silver Spring. The hearing, conducted via Zoom, will include presentation of revised project concept plans, costs, and schedule, along with opportunity for oral testimony. Written feedback can also be submitted via an online testimony form or by email to Planning Specialist Lori Main by Friday, June 12.
