Voter Registration Deadline June 2 for 2026 Primary

Montgomery County Board of Elections May 13, 2026
The Montgomery County Board of Elections has set June 2, 2026, as the advance voter registration and party affiliation change deadline for the 2026 Gubernatorial Primary Election. Residents who miss that deadline may still register in person during early voting (June 11–18) or on Election Day, June 23, 2026, with proof of residency. Maryland conducts closed party primaries; unaffiliated voters may only cast ballots in Board of Education races.
