Wheaton McComas Avenue Greenway Phase I Ceremony Sept. 14

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich, Council President Natali Fani-González, Councilmember Kate Stewart, and MCDOT Director Chris Conklin will hold a press conference on Monday, Sept. 14 at 10:30 a.m. to mark completion of Phase I of the McComas Avenue Greenway project. The project delivers sidewalks, bike lanes, traffic-calming measures, and ADA-compliant upgrades near Stephen Knolls School, spanning from St. Paul Street to Georgia Avenue with enhancements along Douglas Avenue and Windham Lane. The event takes place at the intersection of St. Margarets Way and McComas Avenue in Silver Spring.
