WSSC Water is urging all customers in Montgomery and Prince George's counties to restrict water use to essential needs in anticipation of an increase in water main breaks and leaks caused by frigid temperatures. The utility says the water supply is safe and no boil order has been issued. Customers are asked to report water surfacing on streets or sidewalks by calling 301-206-4002 or emailing emergencycallcenter@wsscwater.com.
