County Opens $400K FY26 Place-Based Management Grant Program

The Community Engagement Cluster and Office of Grants Management launched the FY26 Place-Based Management Grants Program on January 14, 2026, with $400,000 available for organizations supporting economic growth and revitalization along the county's commercial corridors. Awards range from $50,000 to $200,000 for up to 12 months, and at least $200,000 must go to programs serving the Silver Spring Regional Services Center area. Applications close March 2, 2026 at 11:59 PM; an information session is scheduled for January 22, 2026.
