Women's Legislative Briefing Keynote Set for Jan. 31 in Rockville

The Montgomery County Commission for Women will host the 2026 Women's Legislative Briefing on Saturday, January 31, at the Universities at Shady Grove, 9630 Gudelsky Drive, Rockville. The keynote panel — titled 'Visionary Women: Shaping Tomorrow Together' — features U.S. Senator Angela Alsobrooks, Lieutenant Governor Aruna Miller, and Maryland House Speaker Joseline A. Peña-Melnyk, moderated by FOX 5 DC anchor Marissa Mitchell. The full-day event also includes breakout sessions on policy and advocacy, and an Emerging Leaders Program for middle and high school students.
