County Sets Record $274M Awarded to MFD Businesses in FY25

Montgomery County's Office of Procurement FY25 Annual Reports show a record $274 million awarded to certified Minority, Female, and Disabled-Owned (MFD) businesses, representing 21.21% of $1.29 billion in eligible spending and a 10% dollar increase over FY24. This marks the third consecutive year the MFD Program has set a record in total dollars awarded. Additionally, $133 million — 33.7% of eligible spending, the highest percentage since the LSBRP launched in 2009 — went to Local Small Business Reserve Program vendors.
