GO Committee Gets Overview of $6.6B+ FY27-32 Capital Improvements Program

The Government Operations and Fiscal Policy Committee will meet on Jan. 29, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. to receive an overview of the County Executive's recommended FY2027-2032 Capital Improvements Program. The recommended CIP proposes spending increases of more than $6.6 billion, or 10.6 percent, over the six-year period compared to the FY25-30 Amended CIP (excluding WSSC Water). A full CIP review is required this year, as the County Charter mandates a new CIP be approved by June 1 in even-numbered years.
