Elrich Hosts Data Center Policy Forum Feb. 3 in Rockville

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will host a community forum on data center legislation and policies on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026, from 7–9 p.m. at the Leggett Executive Office Building Auditorium in Rockville, with a virtual attendance option also available. The forum will gather input from residents, businesses, and environmental advocates on proposed local legislation governing where and how data centers are built. County Council President Natali Fani-González and Climate Change Officer Sarah Kogel-Smucker are also scheduled to participate.
