County Values Act, Unmask ICE Act Hearings Set for March 3

Councilmember Kristin Mink's County Values Act and Councilmember Will Jawando's Unmask ICE Act are scheduled for public hearings on March 3, 2026. The Values Act would bar ICE from non-public County areas without a judicial warrant, require signage, and prohibit immigration enforcement in County-owned parking areas. The Unmask ICE Act would prohibit masks for all law enforcement, including ICE agents, operating in Montgomery County.
