'Built to Last' Theme Set for May 2026 Building Safety Month

Building Safety Month 2026, the annual international campaign held each May, will carry the theme 'Built to Last,' focusing on durability, preparedness, and community resilience. Weekly themes run from May 1 through May 31 and cover safe homes, voices of the built environment, emergency preparedness, and inclusive communities. Montgomery County DPS will host local events and activities throughout May, including its residential deck maintenance inspection program.
