County Sets Record $274M Awarded to MFD Businesses in FY25

Montgomery County's Office of Procurement reported a record-high $274 million awarded to certified Minority, Female, and Disabled-Owned (MFD) businesses in Fiscal Year 2025, representing 21.21% of eligible dollars and a 10% increase over the prior year. This marks the third consecutive year the MFD Program has set a record total. The County also awarded $133 million to Local Small Business Reserve Program vendors, representing 33.7% of eligible spending — the highest percentage since the program launched in 2009.
