County Awards Record $274M to MFD Businesses in FY25

Montgomery County's Office of Procurement reported a record $274 million awarded to certified Minority, Female, and Disabled-Owned (MFD) businesses in Fiscal Year 2025, representing 21.21% of $1.29 billion in eligible spending — a 10% increase over the prior year. It marks the third consecutive year the MFD Program has set a record in total dollars awarded. The County also awarded $133 million to Local Small Business Reserve Program (LSBRP) vendors, the highest percentage (33.7%) of eligible spending since the program launched in 2009.
