India's Central Bureau of Investigation dismantled the operations in December 2025, arresting six Indian nationals; U.S. losses totaled approximately $48.8 million across roughly 660 victims nationwide, with nearly $6.3 million in losses among approximately two dozen Maryland victims. In Montgomery County, eight individuals have been arrested since 2024 and six convictions have been secured.
