County Snow Emergency May Restrict On-Street Parking

Montgomery County was considering declaring a snow emergency as of Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026, with a decision expected by Sunday afternoon. If declared, on-street parking would be prohibited on snow emergency routes, day-of-week alternating-side rules would apply on other streets, and County parking garage fees would be waived. Free parking in County garages was already in effect Sunday, with enforcement suspended until at least noon Monday, Feb. 23.
