MCPS Launches Boundary Study for Three High Schools

Montgomery County Public Schools is conducting a boundary study in advance of the opening of Crown High School, the expansion of Damascus High School, and the reopening of Woodward High School in the 2027-2028 school year. The study aims to address overcrowding at existing high schools, with multiple middle school boundaries also expected to change. MCPS is currently in Phase 2 of 5, collecting data and developing a framework for secondary realignment.
