The Office of Grants Management (OGM) has added a new compliance requirement: all Montgomery County grant applicants and current grantees must have a "Current" or "Exempt" registration status with the Maryland Secretary of State OneStop Charities Public Registry. Applications from non-compliant organizations will be disqualified, and payments to non-compliant grantees will be frozen or their agreements terminated. OGM will verify registration status as part of the application and award process.
