Day Care Provider Property Tax Credit Applications Now Open

Montgomery County's Day Care Provider Tax Credit application is now open for all licensed or registered child care programs meeting eligibility requirements. Eligible providers may receive up to $10,000 per property tax bill for space used exclusively for child care, with no SDAT re-assessment required for child care-related property improvements. Applications must be submitted to the Montgomery County Division of Treasury by April 1, 2026; approved credits will apply to the following July–June tax year.
