County Holds Public Hearings on $6.6B Capital Budget

Montgomery County conducted four public hearings on its capital budget, which totals $6.6 billion and funds construction of schools, libraries, recreation centers, parks, roads, transit, and bridges. Councilmember Evan Glass reported that residents, including students, testified at the hearings. The capital budget process is ongoing as of February 26, 2026.
