County Sets Record $274M Awarded to MFD Businesses in FY25

The Montgomery County Office of Procurement's FY25 annual reports show a record $274 million was awarded to certified Minority, Female, and Disabled-Owned (MFD) businesses, representing 21.21% of $1.29 billion in eligible dollars — a 10% increase in dollar amount from the prior year and the third consecutive record. Additionally, $133 million, or 33.7% of eligible spending, went to Local Small Business Reserve Program (LSBRP) vendors, the highest percentage since the program launched in 2009.
