MCFRS Offers Free Home Safety Checks and File of Life Program

Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service is offering free home safety checks, including smoke alarm inspection, for county residents. The department also promotes the 'File of Life' program, a downloadable emergency information document intended to be placed on a refrigerator for first responders to access in emergencies. Residents can call MCFRS to schedule a home visit.
