MCPS Adds Four Days to 2025–26 School Calendar After Weather Closures

The Montgomery County Board of Education voted on February 19, 2026, to extend the 2025–26 school year by adding four instructional days following multiple weather-related closures. The added days are June 18 (full day), June 22 (full day), June 24 (early release), and June 25 (early release). The changes were adopted as technical amendments to the existing school-year calendar.
