County Launches $550K Local Food Aggregation Grant for Small Farms

Montgomery County has launched a Local Food Aggregation Grant with $550,000 in initial funding to help small farms connect with large institutional buyers such as schools, hospitals, and senior centers. The program will support development of facilities and infrastructure for aggregating, storing, and distributing local food products. The initiative is intended to strengthen the regional food supply chain and improve food security across Maryland.
