Elrich Releases FY27 County Operating Budget Proposal

County Executive Marc Elrich released his recommended Fiscal Year 2027 Operating Budget on March 13, 2026. The proposal includes continued investments in public education, affordable housing, public safety, health and human services, transportation, climate action, and economic opportunity. The budget is framed against a backdrop of growing economic uncertainty.
