Luedtke Opposes FY2027 Budget Tax and Fee Increases

Councilmember Dawn Luedtke has expressed significant concerns about the County Executive's recommended Fiscal Year 2027 budget, which proposes increases to property taxes, the local income tax, and various fees. Luedtke stated her priority is delivering core services — schools, public safety, and social services — while finding efficiencies and reducing costs. The Council will hold public hearings on the FY2027 budget on April 7, 8, and 9, 2026.
