Joint EC-GO Committee Reviews Arts and Humanities Council Bill

The joint Education and Culture (EC) and Government Operations and Fiscal Policy (GO) Committee will meet on March 19, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. to review Expedited Bill 10-26, Arts and Humanities Council – Amendments. The bill would establish Board of Directors requirements, appointment and confirmation procedures, operational requirements, and a racial equity and social justice policy for the Arts and Humanities Council. The lead sponsor is Council President Fani-González at the request of the County Executive; Councilmember Sayles is a cosponsor.
