Council President to Brief on $8B FY27 Budget Proposal

Council President Natali Fani-González held a public press briefing on March 23, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. to give her initial assessment of the County Executive's recommended $8 billion Fiscal Year 2027 Operating Budget. She outlined how the Council will approach budget review, including Special Taxing Districts and Solid Waste Disposal requests. The briefing took place in the Potomac River Conference Room at 100 Maryland Ave., Rockville.
